Booking Appointments

  • I am so excited that you asked! At Hairapeutic, I am always welcoming new guests looking for extensions, blonding, and dimensional color services.

  • All appointments are booked online. If you're brand new, you can get started by looking over the available New Guest Services and deciding on the one that best matches your hair goals. From there, you'll be guided to my New Guest booking link.

Already know what you want to book? Go directly to booking!

  • I can't wait to see you again! You can click here or the button in the top right-hand side of the page.

  • In an effort to make booking as easy and foolproof as possible, I've gone into detail on my service menu about what you can expect from each service and who that service is designed for. As long as you have your hair goal in mind, you should be able to consult that menu and have a pretty good understanding of which service will be best for you.

When in doubt, though, you can always reach out. If you've looked everything over and still aren't sure, feel free to contact me and we can figure it out together. Or if you prefer, you can book a Beauty & Lifestyle Consultation (stand-alone) and we can figure it out together in person. Whatever works best for you!

  • I do offer more services than just what is detailed in my New Guest Services, and these include Express Maintenance services only available to clients after we've had a consultation in person and I am familiar with their hair. To New Guests, however, my service list is limited to New Gust Packages, which are a first step toward a longer hair journey.

That said, as an Extensions & Dimensional Color Specialist, my service list does reflect my specialized training, and there is the possibility that you are looking for a service that I do not offer at all. My motto in life is that it never hurts to ask, though, so if you have a question about my service offerings, don't hesitate to contact me.

  • This depends on the time of year and type of service. I am usually booked in advance and would recommend a minimum of two weeks to book a service. However, Saturday appointments tend to book further out than two weeks. Remember to plan ahead for important events and for the holiday season! If there is a time you’re looking for and you don’t see it available, please reach out to me using the contact form.

  • In today's modern world, we are all constantly on the go, living busy lives and and managing busy schedules. I noticed that booking too far in advance doesn't work for most people.

In an effort to offer a more equitable booking system that allows everyone a fair chance of getting an ideal appointment time regardless of whether your schedule is set in stone or always moving around, I've created a rolling booking system. Within this system, an appointment in my books can only be booked 8 weeks (56 days) in advance. Trying to book out farther than that will result in not seeing available appointments on my booking software.

Come every 8 weeks? You can book the day of your appointment for your next one! Come every 10 weeks? Set a calendar event in your phone for 2 weeks from your last hair appointment, and feel confident that you'll wake up that morning and be able to hop onto my booking system and secure the exact day and time you want.

This system allows me to offer my guests maximum flexibility in scheduling appointments, and ensures that if anything happens, you won't have to wait too long to get back onto my schedule.

  • In order to provide the best booking experience possible, my software will allow you to book, reschedule, and cancel your own appointments online 24/7.

If you are trying to cancel or reschedule your appointment online and are not seeing the option to do so, this is likely because you are trying to cancel an appointment that has now fallen within the Cancellation Policy window. To cancel or reschedule after this point, you absolutely still can, but you do need to contact me directly via text (my number is included within your confirmation/reminder texts) in order to do so. Should you decide to do this, my Cancellation Policy will apply.

To learn more about my Cancellation Policy, you can find information under the Policies tab here in the FAQ or on the Policies page.

  • No worries! A luxurious scalp massage is included with most services (certain processes do not make this possible), however, I totally understand that not everyone is a big fan of touch. If you don't feel like the scalp massage is for you, all you need to do is say no! No offense is taken on my part. Coming to the salon should be a wonderful, relaxing experience, and you can have it totally customized any way you want.

  • It is with confidence that I can guarantee satisfaction on all services I provide. If the service does not live up to the consultation agreement, please contact me within one week of your appointment and I will make adjustments at no charge to you. Please see policies for more details.

The Day of Your Appointment

  • I'm always going to vote that clean hair is better. What's great about clean hair is that the starting color is more clear, your texture is more apparent (important when planning color placement), and the product doesn't have to work as hard to cut through any build up (including chemicals that can potentially cause adverse reactions) allowing for a more predictable result.

At the end of the day, though, it isn't a huge deal if you don't manage to come with clean hair. Some shampoos and conditioners will still lead to reactions, so I take precautions anyway. Unlike the old wives tales, though, there isn't any benefit to coming with dirty hair, so just do what makes you feel most comfortable.

  • Absolutely! Bring anything you might want or need for the duration of your service. That said, I also provide all kinds of complimentary drinks and snacks for you to enjoy. Some guests even have food delivered while they're having their hair done. Whatever you need to make your visit as enjoyable as possible is good in my books!

  • Generally speaking, this is not advised. I only rent one chair in the salon, and some services take many hours to complete. Whether child or adult, it definitely might not be the most fun wait for them.

Additionally, there are a lot of sharp and hot tools, as well as dangerous chemicals that are easily accessible. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to your child while I am busy foiling and you're trying to relax.

As such, it truly is best that only those being serviced (and their parent or guardian, if applicable) attend the appointment.

  • I'm sorry that you're feeling under the weather. I can totally appreciate how much you're looking forward to getting your hair done despite it, and I love your commitment to keeping our arranged appointment. That said, it is truly best that you reschedule your appointment.

First of all, you should be getting the rest you need. I know the salon is a relaxing, rejuvinating experience, but your recovery will be best aided by rest and medicine. Additionally, you run the risk of transferring illness to myself, other salon professionals, and other guests. It is especially difficult if I fall ill because, in consideration of my other guests, I then have to cancel appointments on others until I recover.

If you arrive to an appointment exhibiting signs of illness, your appointment will be cancelled and subject to my Cancellation Policy. To learn more about my Cancellation Policy, you can find information in my policies page.
